Our guild is its members! This means taking an active part in the Guild, joining in events, grouping with other Guildies on a fairly regular basis, helping others with quests, doing what you can to help the Guild as a whole. That does not exclude soloing, grouping with others, or not jumping in to help every person who asks. It is about finding the right balance to benefit you and the Guild. And never forget - WoW is a game, we are just here to have fun!

Also never forget that you carry the Guild's Name above your head at all times, conduct yourself in a manner which will earn respect from your fellow players, not contempt. Be proud of being a Nubcake, and make those around you happy to see one. Be polite, both to Guildies and fellow travellers. One bad moment can stain the whole guild and will not be tolerated!

There will be no racist, sexist or degrading talk of any kind, in or out of the guild. If witnessed by an Officer it will result in a warning (which can result in your removal from the guild) If reported by any guild member, it will be investigated and result in the same action. Do keep in mind that 'He said.. She said..' fights are hard for the officers since most of the time we do not know who to believe. Just leave each other alone, maybe even on 'ignore'. If it really bothers you, come with proof like screenshots. This also mean ease up on the profanity and offensive type remarks!!

Conversation, if another player acts poorly toward you, then try politely asking them to stop or reach a compromise, and if that doesn't work, try speaking with one of the Guild's Officers.

Do not use capslock in guild chat, observed by an officer once it will cause a warning.

There is never an excuse for dealing with other players poorly. Have self-respect. No begging in guild chat.
By all means ask for help when you need help, but make the distinction. If it is not immediately urgent, try the forums. For quest assistance, do some research, plan a date and time, and ask for help from people via a forum post or set up an event on the Raid site ( It is easier to help those who help themselves in this respect.

Requesting services (resses, trade skills, etc) - Requests should be polite and specific. Guild members are under no obligation to fulfill the requests, however if they are not busy and have the time to spare, then providing assistance is encouraged. These should be non-exploitative - neither overcharging a guild member nor making a profit from another's good will. If a Guildie offers you something cheaply, buy it to use it! not to sell it on elsewhere. If no response to your request is received in guildchat, then direct /tells should not be used, but not abused!

Last but not least:
Please do not auction via guild chat. - that is what the trade channel is for.
No cursing. Save your temper for the mobs.
No drama. Drama will be dealt with dramatically (a warning!).

Ranks - how the guild works!

Guild Mistress - The woman in charge - and also the Healing Officer.

Raiding Officers - melee/ranged dps, tanks and raid leaders. They will be able to answer your questions about raiding, gear and looting. They are also in charge of invites and application declines.

Officers - Perform other duties not associated with a particular class, Appointed by the Guildmaster.

Officer Alt - Name says it all.

Bankers - 4 Character who hold materials, equipment and recipes from people who donated those to the guildbank.

Nubcakes -> Equipment bank
Nubcakesmats -> Material bank
Nubrecipes -> Recipe bank
Lazybank -> Cloth bank

Raider - The primary pool of players used to form raids. Required to sustain attendance, performance, and preparation in order to retain raider status. Promoted from the members by agreement of the Guildmaster and officers.

Member - general players.

Alt - general players alts.

All officers are equal. Nubcakes doesn't have one guild master. It has 12 guild masters. All decisions of the guild are made by officers and the guild master. Respect those decisions!

Ranking up - if they belive you're reliable, they will draft you as officer, and discuss the matter.

Ranking down - on the other side they Punish Bad Behavior with warnings, that are also discussed, 3 strikes euqals a kick.

Inactive Guild Members will be kicked after 2 weeks absence, unless the player has notified officers/GM of this absence.
